Manufactured to meet all CE certification and ISO: 13485 requirements. The extra thickness of the steel frame makes this one of the toughest self-propelled wheelchairs on the market. At the same time, the Relequip chair is neither heavy nor unwieldy, weighing in at only 19kg. The chair includes, solid tyres on the large 24" spoked rear wheels. The smaller swivelling front wheels are manufactured from extra-strength solid polyurethane, designed to withstand the hard knocks often sustained when mounting kerbs, ramps, or other obstacles. Fixed armrests, leg rests, flip-up footplates, and all the usual features are included. In addition, the comfortable flame-resistant nylon seat and backrest reduce weight, and make for easy cleaning and maintenance. Other features include patient safety restraints, comfortable and supportive restraint straps for the legs.
